I wish to welcome you to the City of Midway's website. We hope you find it most interesting and easy to use. We are proud of our site and believe that it will provide the information that one needs, whether you're a first time visitor or a resident of our city.
We are proud to have a historical, fascinating little City with our history ranging from the first settlements of our great nation to the current history making 3rd Division of the US Army, making its home in Liberty County, just a few minutes away. Our Revolutionary and Civil War history is second to none. We also host the Coastal meeting place of Dr. Martin Luther King, the Historic Dorchester Academy. Another proud boost for our City is that we are the home of TWO signers of the Declaration Of Independence. We believe we are the only City able to make such a claim. If you are interested in Early American History, a must see is our Historic Museum, Church and Cemetery.
If you're interested in relocation, we have few days, if any, that one has to shovel any SNOW. We have new housing available and new schools.
A progressive little City that has not lost its real sense of Community. You can see we are rich in history, but I wish to add our best point, that is, we are a true City of Southern Hospitality and welcome you to come and visit to see for yourself. Located off Exit 76, on US Interstate 95 between, Savannah and Brunswick Georgia.
