In early 2007, Target will open a 1.5 million square-foot regional distribution center which will eventually employ nearly 1000 people. New housing is being built at a record pace and our city is growing.

In 2006, the City of Midway contracted with The Walker Collaborative to create a new Master Plan for our city. This plan includes the creation of a new town center, creation of new green spaces, preservation of our historic landmarks, and construction guidelines designed to allow our city to move forward while honoring our rich history.
